The four routes are:

1) From lonely church to Isbjerg (14 km)

Tved Klitplantage is one of the most interesting in Thy. It contains fascinating cultural stories and the most spectacular views over Denmark's largest dune. The western part of the plantation, where Isbjerg is located, is part of the Hanstholm Game Reserve. The reserve is impassable and oozes grandeur. It contains large numbers of carnivores and rare birds. The dune plantation is also known as the best in Thy when it comes to picking mushrooms. Most of the trip takes place inside the dune plantation, sheltered from the westerly wind, but in varied and hilly terrain along gravel roads. The greatest experiences are in the areas around Isbjerg and Tved Kirke. Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to experience the infinity of the forest.
In wet periods, the lowest parts of the stretch may be flooded. But it is almost always possible to bypass it.

2) From lake to lake (12 km)

Lace up your walking shoes and get close to history and nature between the two large lakes in Thy. Nors Sø and Vandet Sø are both go-kart lakes and are among the cleanest in Denmark. You will experience the lakes up close, and there will be plenty of good opportunities to take photos of the magnificent and vast landscape. Most of the tour takes place in Vilsbøl Plantage, which is one of the most beautiful in Thy. The plantation contains plenty of natural and cultural history. The easternmost part of the route runs along the edge of Nors Sø. Don't cheat yourself out of that experience. The terrain is varied and hilly and invites to be explored.

3) Coastal fishing, art and dune plantation (14 km)

Despite the harsh conditions by the sea, Stenbjerg is full of charm. At the landing site by the sea you can experience the characteristic white tool houses from the time when coastal fishing was carried out from the beach. On the trip up through the city you will, among other things, past the church and Käte Lassen's old studio, which now forms the framework for a small museum. Behind the small museum, you can go up into the observation bunker from World War II. In the dune plantation, the route takes you past beautiful dune lakes, over ditches on narrow bridges and under magnificent trees. Where the dune plantation meets the large, sprawling dunes, you will walk on the old rescue route that was used when ships ran aground along the coast. Last but not least, you will pass Stenbjerg's lighthouse, which marks Stenbjerg's position for seafarers.
In wet periods, the lowest parts of the stretch may be flooded. But it is almost always possible to bypass it.

4) Coastal cliff, dune and plantation (16 km)

Experience the North Sea, the dunes, dune plantation and Lodbjerg Lighthouse in one and the same trip.

Lodbjerg Lighthouse is the area's biggest attraction. On the one hand, the buildings are magnificent and ooze history, and on the other hand, it is far from civilization on the border between different types of nature. From the lighthouse, there are experiences with different nature in all four corners of the world. To the north there are dunes as far as the eye can see. To the west there is the sea and coastal cliffs with visible traces of the landscape of the past. To the east is the large Lodbjerg Klitplantage and Lodbjerg Church with stories about man's struggle against nature. To the south are the three lakes. On this trip you experience it all.
The tour is very varied, and mainly follows small forest roads and singletrack in the plantation.
